“That shot” overlooking Vancouver Harbour from the Vancouver Pacific Rim Hotel – this picture was actually taken in reverse (with the reflection of the harbour in the in the window).

“Well – I loved this gown (I added the pink sash myself) – it was quite the scene trying to get it to blow properly and for me to cast with some elegance. Typically I prefer something more buoyant (when fishing) than yards of silk.”

“They rented a boat for this shot! There,in front, were an incredible (and fun) team of people making me feel like the most special person – I seriously had a surreal day. The backdrop of the shot (Vancouver) is stunning.”

Haute Dog: “I actually don’t eat meat – thank goodness veggie dogs were on the menu.”

“I was taking the picture – this is Nelson Mandela on his birthday – just outside of the Dorchester Hotel. I walked out of the hotel and it was just Nelson and myself (and thirty security guards). A memorable moment.”

Great transition. Thank goodness my husband finally cut his hair!

I presented at this event with Justin Trudeau. In this picture I am honouring the amazing Christine Poirier.

With JP and Bo – two close friends – nothing better than laughing until you cry.

“The Tree” – Santa (aka: Stephen) resting before the action. Always a big event in the Mulholland home.

They had fake backgrounds and costumes at this event. Good friends Carol and Bo joined me for a fun photo.

Dripping with a balsamic vinegar reductions and light spices, this is a family favourite.

My husband, in particular, corners the ham – loves the brown sugar dressing and the moistness.

Possibly one of the most complicated simple dishes to get right.

Some fun Easter decor.

A family favourite, roast lightly with fresh dill. Carrot tops are left on for effect and the carrots are always lightly cooked – el dante.

Marlene suggested a light parmesan coating (last minute) with the onion garnish. Her family loves this recipe – our devoured it too.

For the vegetarians at the table – this is the go-to Easter dish (atypical) tradition but familiar in our household).

This wonderful girl knows what I like…creative broccoli birthday cake.

My absolute favourite food…none other than broccoli (spinach is a distant second).

Best gift ever…Broccoli cushion from my wonderful friend Karen….decorated Broccoli from my kids.
